The original kitchen in this Art-Deco Upper West Side building was almost non-existent, with aging small appliances and hardly any counter space. The kitchen was totally transformed: a full-size refrigerator was recessed into a closet to keep the entryway as spacious as possible; the dishwasher is only 18”wide, large enough for a family of one; and classic white Shaker cabinets brighten the room.
